Watani, the National Identity Programme, has launched Al Mutahida, a campaign that highlights achievements by the people of the UAE.
The campaign, which was launched in Dubai, has been organised in association with Emirates Post, Emirates Association for Fine Arts and Tahskeel arts centre.
It features a postcard addressed to the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and the members of the Supreme Council, expressing greetings for their vision and contribution to the prosperity of the Emirates.
Mutahida, meaning united, also marks the essence of the UAE since its formation 38 years ago.
Ahmed Al Mansoori, Director-General of Watani, said: "Watani is trying to bring about the spirit of the UAE union."
Watani will be organising Al Mutahida art competition and exhibition in co-ordination with Tashkeel and the Emirates Association for Fine Arts.
He said, the competition will engage young artists to present their personal artistic interpretation of the word 'Mutahida' reflecting its true significance and the underlying principles and values of the UAE union.
A panel of judges will select the submissions for the exhibition alongside the works of renowned artists at the Al Mutahida art exhibition to be held at The Dubai Mall between November 26 and December 5.
Watani will also organise visits to the federal and local departments.
