UAE seeks to widen economic ties with Japan 
Sheikh Mohammed and the Japanese minister. (WAM)

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday received the visiting Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Masayuki Naoshima.

Sheikh Mohammed said the relations between the UAE and Japan are long and solid, especially in the oil sector. The UAE looks forward to taking the relations to a new and bigger phase, particularly in the field of education, culture and technology.

Sheikh Mohammed also received Yemen's Commander of the Republican Guard and Special Forces Brigadier Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh.
