Two steal cash from office

Two men climbed over the fence at Jumeirah Beach Park, broke into the management office and tried to steal cash from a safe, Dubai Criminal Court heard.

Kosovans AS and BM, both 37, used a screwdriver, hammer and electric saw in the break-in, it was alleged. They are accused of attempted theft.

Dubai CID officer Abdullah Yousuf testified that on October 19 a woman told police that she had seen two men climbing over the fence.

Police arrived at the park and saw traces of an attempt to open the safe. AS was arrested at the scene. The case was adjourned until December 10.
