According to insiders, he paid over $120,000 in Ethereum for the digital piece of art. He uses the CryptoPunk NFT he bought as his Twitter profile picture. This is a strategic move, as it increases the popularity of NFTs. Jay-Z is a known businessman and art collector and him showing off his NFT on Twitter shows he moves with the times. 

Snoop Dogg

American rapper and businessman Snoop Dogg invests heavily in NFTs. He wants to own the world’s first NFT record label and release music via the Metaverse. How this will all work is still unclear, but it is already certain that buyers of new albums will receive NFTs. He also admitted that he owns the Cozomomedici Twitter account. This account has a great cryptocurrency and NFT following. Snoop Dogg owns at least 9 CryptoPunk NFTs total. 

Odell Beckham Jr. 

The well-known wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns joined the NFT bandwagon. He owns CryptoPunk #3365 and uses it as his Twitter avatar. Odell Beckham Jr. only owns a single CryptoPunk at the time of writing.  

Serena Williams

Serena Williams is a professional tennis player from the United States. She is the younger sister of Venus Williams. Williams has won all singles grand slam tournaments at least three times. She won a total of 23 Grand Slam singles titles. Her husband is Alexis Ohanian, one of the co-founders of Reddit. Ohanian gave Serena CryptoPunk #2950 during the 2021 Met Gala.  

Steve Aoki

Steve Aoki is a famous dance music artist and DJ. In 2021 he bought CryptoPunk #6473 for 65 Ethereum. He owns more than one NFT and he also sells his own NFTs. Owners of Steve Aoki’s NFTs receive free access to his concerts. According to sources, Aoki owns some Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. 

Gary Vaynerchuck

The American businessman Gary Vee is an avid NFT collector. He owns a grand total of 59 CryptoPunks. Gary bought his most expensive Ape Punk for over $3,7 million. His total NFT collection is worth over $15 million.

Jason Derulo

Jason Derulo is an American vocalist who has been singing from a very young age. He is one of the most famous American singers and has the 12th most popular TikTok account worldwide. Jason Derulo bought CryptoPunk #1961 in September last year and uses it as his Twitter avatar. 

Logan Paul

Logan Paul is a professional boxer and influencer with millions of fans over the globe. He owns a total of 6 CryptoPunks and he auctions NFTs to his fans from time to time. Logan’s most noticeable NFT is Punk #2294. His entire NFT collection is worth at least a million dollars. 

FaZe Banks

FaZe Banks is the owner of one of the largest and most well-known esports teams. His NFT collection contains 9 CryptoPunks and is worth several million dollars. He uses CryptoPunk $4283 as his Twitter avatar. Faze Banks is very active in the NFT trading space and invests in CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs. 

gmoney.eth

gmoney.eth is an anonymous crypto trader and NFT collector. He made over $1 million profit with the sale of his Ape CryptoPunk but still owns 9 CryptoPunks. The CryptoPunks he still has hold a total value of over $1,5 million. 

Hayden Adams

Hayden Adams is the founder of Uniswap Exchange. This is the most famous decentralized exchange on the Ethereum blockchain with over $2 billion in liquidity. Adams owns CryptoPunk #6055, among several others. 

3LAU

3LAU is a famous EDM music artist. He has an extensive NFT collection with a value of over $5 million. He uses CryptoPunk #2852 as his Twitter profile avatar. In total, he owns 38 CyperPunks. 

@beaniemaxi

Beani Maxi is a famous NFT collector. He is a team member of NFT projects like PunksComics and PixelVaultDAO. He has one of the biggest NFT collections with over 230 CryptoPunks. This collection is worth at least $35 million. Beani Maxi talks about NFTs on Twitter Spaces weekly to his 50,000 Twitter followers.  

Wilcox.eth

Wilcox.eth, also known as Zooko Wilcox is an early cryptocurrency investor. He was part of the original Cypherpunk movement and has one of the largest NFT collections in the world. He owns at least 250 CryptoPunks worth a minimum of $30 million. Wilcox owns the Electric Coin Company, which is the company behind the altcoin ZCash. 

Sov.eth

Sov.eth is an anonymous NFT whale. The secretive owner of this Ethereum wallet owns 147 CryptoPunks, of which most have rare attributes. Most of the CryptoPunks Sov.eth owns have red hair and wear virtual reality goggles. Nobody knows the exact value of his collection, but it’s well worth over $20 million. 

@artonblockchain

ArtonBlockchain, also known as Erick or Snowfro, owns 18 CryptoPunks. He is an early NFT investor that has made over 10 million dollars selling NFTs. He doesn’t own any rare CryptoPunks anymore, but he did sell some Zombies and Apes. 

Soby

Soby is a cryptocurrency Twitter influencer. He owns a large NFT collection that contains CryptoPunks, Meebits, and Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs. He is working on a Metaverse NFT Gaming platform called Ex Populus.

@iamDCinvestor

DCinvestor owns 6 CryptoPunks. He is one of the early NFT investors that made a lot of money trading NFTs in the heydays. He spent 39 Ethereum on his entire collection which is worth over 300 Ethereum at the moment.
