Lee Olesky and Jim Toffey founded it in 1996. Tradeweb serves retail clients, banks, asset managers, pension funds, and insurance companies. Lee Olesky is the CEO of Tradeweb. He previously worked as Chief Operating Officer for Credit Suisse First Boston’s Fixed Income Americas division. After he launched Tradeweb in 1998, he left and co-founded BrokerTec, another trading platform. He returned to Tradeweb in 2002. In 2023 Billy Hult will become the next CEO of the company.
