Nordnet is a Swedish finance company that offers its clients online brokerage and investment services. It was founded in 1996 and has its headquarters in Stockholm. Nordnet has over 1,000,000 customers from Denmark, Finland, and Norway.
It used to be a subsidiary of the Öhman financial group in the 2000s but the Nordic Capital and the Öhman group privatized it in 2017. Nowadays it is listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm with the Öhman group still being its largest shareholder. It expanded its services to include savings, loans, and pensions.
